March 4, 2012: NMRA Nitto Tires Spring Break Shootout at Bradenton Motorsports Park
NMRA (National Mustang Racers Association) Nitto Tires Spring Break Shootout at Bradenton Motorsports Park. March 1 to 4. All Ford Drag racing event, car show, swap meet and large vendor midway. This is a must see event for all Ford gearheads. Enter your Mustang in the car show and enjoy a fun day at the drag strip.
To caravan we will meet on Saturday March 3rd at the McDonalds at I-75 & Ruskin/Sun City exit and leave at 8:30 sharp. Gates open at 9am. It’s a little pricey, $25 per person in the car (includes entry into car show) so if you have 3 people it will cost $75.
The car show portion is 2 separate days, Saturday or Sunday or both if you want to spend the money and time. Separate awards given each day.

This show is for any Mustang, Shelby or Shelby Cobra, Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, or Ford Powered Car or Truck – whether in show condition or still a “work in progress.” All Show vehicles must be Ford Powered.
Registration: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM Judging: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM Prizes and Awards 3:00 PM
Pre-Registered Cars (Must be postmarked by March 9, 2012) $25.00
Participant Only includes Work In Progress (car will not be judged) $10.00

March 31, 2012: Mustangs and Mustangs at Fantasy of Flight
The 2012 Mustangs & Mustangs: Legends Havin’ Fun show has been announced! We’re revving up for a great 15th anniversary event with TWO days of fun! That’s right, we’re adding a second day to our famous Mustang show. This year you can not only enjoy the great Mustang airplane and car show event at Fantasy of Flight on Saturday, but join us again on Sunday at Florida’s favorite vacation destination: Walt Disney World! We’ll be enjoying the day at Walt Disney World Speedway with parade laps, start/finish line photography, Richard Petty Driving Experience ride alongs, go-kart racing and more!

April 14, 2012: Islands Fest Car Show 2012
Our club has been asked to host the car show as part of Islands Fest April 14 at Peter O. Knight Airport on Davis Islands. This is the 6th year for this event that draws several thousand spectators. Last year another club hosted the show and about 130 cars attended. This will be an open show and we may have a Mustang show within the show. Lots of the plans are still underway. Islands Fest is a community event with lots of other attractions for families. In addition to cars there will be planes, boats and military vehicles and equipment on display.

April 21, 2012: 4th Annual Old Palm Harbor Car Show
Palm Harbor Car Show hosts its flagship car show in historic Old Palm Harbor for the fourth consecutive year. Each previous show has had over 200 classic cars and fine imports, and this show should be no different. All makes and models are welcome. Registration begins at 8am and ends at 10am, with awards at around 3:30. All proceeds from Palm Harbor Car Show benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure to help fund breast cancer research.
