Mustang Club of Tampa

Our club was formed in 1980 and is the Hillsborough County Florida regional group of the Mustang Club of America. We have approximately 80 families as members. Several of our current members were founders of the club. Our members range in age from teenagers to retired individuals.

Annual dues are $20.00 and are renewable in May of each year. We hold a monthly meeting on the fourth Tuesday of each month at our sponsor's dealership, BILL CURRIE Ford - 5815 North Dale Mabry Hwy. - Tampa. The meeting begins at 7:00 PM. Topics for our meeting include restoration tips and tours of local automotive-related businesses. We have discussed many areas of Mustang restoration including maintenance, door repair, and concours detailing of an undercarriage. We have seen members' video tapes, photos and slides of many shows and auto related-events such as MCA National Shows, Carlisle and Whitepost Restorations. We have toured a local high-caliber restoration shop as well as a Cobra reproduction facility.

Ownership of a Mustang is not required to become a member of our club. Our only requirement is that you have an appreciation of the model. We accept all years of Mustangs in our club. Members' cars range from daily drivers to fully restored concours show cars and every category in between. We are always interested in attracting new members and look forward to having as many individuals as possible involved in all club activities.
